THE BRIEF

Build a youthful, progressive story and uniform concept for an All-Star basketball game that features the top 24 high school players in the country to be played in Brooklyn. The concept must be distinct from the competitors' All-Star games that occupy the same season.

THE PROCESS

ELITE 24

Once the site of the game was confirmed, scenic Brooklyn Pier Park, the work began to build a story around the only outdoor All-Star game on the high school circuit. The backdrop of the New York skyline mixed with an iconic (1980’s Nuggets) basketball jersey served as the inspiration for the story and graphic language. The uniform base colors were intentionally timeless and classic so that the footwear could be the louder color expression. Working closely with the footwear and accessories team facilitated a cohesive toe-to-head look and resulted in a memorable uniform that complimented the awe inspiring backdrop.
