After research the Blue Angels concept emerged from other compelling stories found within the Naval Academy due to its unique color scheme and rish design elements. Colors were digitally matched from an authentic Blue Angel flight suit and font style was inspired by the numbers on the jet’s tail. Working with a local artist the theme was translated onto the football helmet and individually hand painted and numbered. Collaborating with the internal accessories, footwear and marketing team ensured a consistent narrative. Lastly, the Blue Angels story was reimagined for retail products for men, women and youth.
